The cost of an international health insurance varies depending on the following factors:

• Age
• Type of coverage (inpatient only or with outpatient care, add-ons of benefits, etc.)
• Area of coverage (local, regional or global)
• Deductible or co-pay options

Who can apply?

• Adults between 18 and 70 years old.
• Children under 18 can be included on a parent’s policy.
• All nationalities are welcome to apply.

Important to note:

• These international plans are currently only available to residents of specific Asian countries.
• To be considered a resident, you must live in one of these countries for at least 185 days per year.

You can choose between 3 areas of cover: 

• Zone A: worldwide excluding USA

• Zone B: worldwide excluding USA, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, Bahamas, China

• Zone C: worldwide excluding USA, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, Bahamas, China, Russia, United Kingdom, Singapore, Taiwan, Brazil

   

Note that LUMA international health insurance plans cover for medical emergencies and accidents worldwide (even outside the selected zone of coverage) up to the terms and conditions applied by the policy.

All nationalities are welcome to apply, only residence is considered for plan eligibility (at least 185 days in one of the following countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka.)

You may pay for your insurance premium by bank transfer or credit card, annually, quarterly or semi-annually. Please note a surcharge apply to installments. Contact us for more details.
